About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at a Secondary school in Kirklees. As a Part-Time English Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to students, promoting academic excellence and fostering a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English to students in a Secondary school setting
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching methods
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) with a specialism in English
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience (Early Career Teachers are encouraged to apply)
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
  • Part-Time availability
  • 2x professional references
  • Right to work in the UK
