Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team at The Retreat Elcot Park in West Berkshire.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our kitchen. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and attention to detail in the kitchen and its equipment.
- Assist with deliveries, storing items as necessary, and disposing of waste in accordance with procedure.
- Ensure floors are cleaned at appropriate intervals during the day.
- Adhere to and follow precisely weekly and monthly cleaning duties' lists as directed by Senior Kitchen/Chef on duty.
- Understand HACCP before using any chemicals or cleaning substances.
- Ensure all company rules and regulations relating to Hygiene, Health and Safety are being strictly adhered to and recorded correctly.
