About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Bayford House Care Home. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between the main kitchen and our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
- Assist our chefs in preparing meals, plating dishes, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Monitor stock rotation, adhere to company policies, and follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy food preparation process.
- Support catering for special events, such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties, to create memorable experiences for our residents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess a passion for food, previous experience working in a kitchen, and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You will be committed to delivering exceptional service, maintaining high standards, and ensuring our residents feel at home.
