Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting and Office Manager to join our team at Armstrong Knight. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing strategic consultancy and financial management services to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in practice management, with experience in financial statements, tax computations, and team supervision. You will be responsible for managing the Tax, VAT, and payroll departments, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to HMRC deadlines.

This is a strong relationship management role, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our directors to ensure the best client care and smooth operation of the general office.

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in increasing efficient ways of working, who is familiar with the latest technology and is able to implement process improvements. ACCA or CTA qualification is desirable, but applicants with equivalent experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial statements and tax computations for clients
  • Providing strategic consultancy and financial management services
  • Supervising a team of Accountants on the portfolio of all clients
  • Managing the Tax, VAT, and payroll departments to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to HMRC deadlines

Requirements:
