Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting, supporting patients with their medical needs and working closely with our RN team to provide comprehensive care.

The ideal candidate will have experience of providing care in a healthcare or social setting, with a strong ability to work as part of a team and prioritize tasks effectively.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Supporting patients with their medical needs, including phlebotomy services and vital sign observations.
  • Working closely with our RN team to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing intravenous drug treatments.
  • Participating in patient assessments and providing holistic patient care.
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring safe standards of care.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience of providing care in a healthcare or social setting.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Trained to undertake phlebotomy procedures and comfortable with taking blood samples.
