Job Title: Environmental Fundraising Manager

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Fundraising Manager to join our team at Friends of the Earth. As a key member of our Income Generation directorate, you will be responsible for leading our individual giving supporter recruitment programme.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate team dedicated to protecting the natural world and the wellbeing of everyone in it. As Environmental Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to maximise the value of our donor recruitment activity.

You will lead a team of Individual Giving Officers and work closely with the Supporter Experience Manager to deliver a diverse range of activities and techniques to recruit regular givers, cash donors, and product donors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategy to maximise the value of our donor recruitment activity
  • Lead a team of Individual Giving Officers to deliver a diverse range of activities and techniques
  • Work closely with the Supporter Experience Manager to optimise welcome journeys and improve retention
  • Drive effective direct marketing activity and knowledge of fundraising compliance and best practice
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A confident fundraiser with a solid grasp of all supporter recruitment channels
  • Experience in donor recruitment or direct marketing acquisition within the commercial sector
  • Knowledge of fundraising compliance and best practice
