Job Overview

As a Senior Stress Engineer at Advanced Resource Managers, you will be part of a dynamic team working on cutting-edge aerospace engineering analysis solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert analysis and recommendations to ensure the structural integrity of aircraft components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced finite element analysis tools to perform static stress and fatigue analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Chief Engineers, Programmes, and Manufacturing
  • Participate in audit reviews and present findings to stakeholders
  • Engage in product validation and testing
  • Liaise with external suppliers, customers, and regulatory bodies
  • Identify analysis solutions and recommend improvements or alternative methods
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, designs, and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and qualification requirements
  • Occasional travel may be required for project meetings and site visits

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum HNC/Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline
  • Strong working knowledge of aerospace design and manufacturing processes for mechanical systems
  • Understanding of different engineering functions and their interdependencies
  • Experience with recognized FEA and fatigue software tools, including Nastran and Patran
  • Proficiency in static and fatigue structural analysis methods
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Experience with aerospace materials engineering properties and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with IPT environments and strong communication skills
