Technical Building Planning Coordinator Job Description

Our client, a leading independent residential construction company, is seeking an ambitious and experienced Technical Building Planning Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage and provide guidance and support to new build schemes
  • Lead and manage a team of technical coordinators
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and NHBC legislation
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills in design and engineering construction
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Contribute to the development of company processes and procedures
Requirements
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a strong desire to grow within the company
  • Experience in refurb and new build projects, with a good understanding of planning legislation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with minimal instruction
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal directly with customers
  • Punctual, reliable, and with good practical skills
  • Degree qualified or equivalent, with up-to-date CSCS and SMSTS certification
