Nursery Manager - Maternity Cover

The salary for this position is £33,000, depending on experience and qualification.

We are seeking a Nursery Manager to provide maternity cover for our client's vibrant and inclusive nursery. The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the provision of high-quality childcare and educational experiences for children aged 0-5 years.

Key Qualifications
  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within a nursery setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and current childcare legislation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and foster a culture of diversity, equality, and inclusion

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nursery staff, providing support, supervision, and guidance
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children
  • Implement and oversee the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider community
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
  • Oversee budget management and financial administration
  • Contribute to staff recruitment, training, and development
