Junior Medical Specialist

Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Resident Medical Officer to join our team at Cygnet Hospital Stevenage. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing on-call cover and supporting your colleagues during planned leave.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, with access to ongoing training and development opportunities. We offer a competitive salary up to £75,000 (dependent on experience) and a range of benefits, including medical indemnity cover, CPD support, and generous annual leave entitlement.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, please ensure you meet the following requirements:
- Fully GMC registered & MBBS (or equivalent) qualified
- An excellent clinical decision maker, with sound judgement, the ability to manage risk & know when to ask for help
- At least 6 months of Psychiatric Experience
- Experience in General Practice and General Medicine
- Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess & treat patients & write clear, comprehensive medical notes
- Committed to continued professional development
