About the Role
Hays Senior Finance is partnering with a global manufacturing group to recruit a driven and dynamic Management Accountant. This permanent and progressive accounting role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a leading and entrepreneurial manufacturing group.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, develop, and analyze financial information to support business decision-making.
- Own the Fixed Asset Register and verify assets across UK sites.
- Manage IFRS 16 Leased Asset Accounting and review Assets Under Construction and capitalizing Assets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create longer-term Capex spend plans for the Budget and Strategic Plan years.
- Post journals, accruals, and prepayments, and review capex project forecasts and spend/depreciation.
- Provide timely and accurate information to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Support internal and external audits and provide cover for the Senior Finance team.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Experience in a similar position, part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
- Strong MS Excel skills and experience in financial systems.
- Adaptability to business needs, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Hands-on, proactive, and ongoing professional development throughout your accounting career.
What You'll Get in Return
This permanent and progressive Management Accountant role offers a salary between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, plus a study package and up to 15% annual bonus.
