Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Steward to join their team at Stowe School. As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and providing exceptional customer service to students, staff, and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food to a high standard, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including equipment and utensils
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and service
- Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and guests
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure smooth service operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and regulations
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
