Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Steward to join our team at Stowe School, one of our most prestigious and busy contracts. As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, preparing and serving high-quality meals, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. If you have a passion for food, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook high-quality meals for students and staff
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety standards
* Ensure efficient kitchen operations, including food preparation, storage, and serving
* Collaborate with the catering team to achieve excellent customer service and satisfaction
* Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues and school staff
Requirements
* 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or college setting
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene
