Job Title: SEN Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who require bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis.

The Opportunity

Our SEN Tutors work with pupils who have struggled to access mainstream education due to their SEN. We provide a supportive and inclusive environment where our Tutors can make a real difference in the lives of our students. As a SEN Tutor, you will have the opportunity to create, plan, and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in a pupil's education and boost their attainment levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to pupils with SEN
  • Support pupils to re-engage with their learning and develop a love for education
  • Work closely with families and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to supporting pupils
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide regular reports to Prospero Teaching
Requirements
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a classroom or care environment
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative lesson plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
