About the Role

We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to work on an ad-hoc basis across various schools in Devon, particularly focusing on special educational needs (SEN) schools. As a Cover Supervisor, you will have the flexibility to choose when you work, whether that's covering supply days or taking on a longer-term role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Class Supervision: Lead and supervise students while delivering pre-prepared lessons during the class teacher's short-term absence.
  • Adaptability: Be prepared to handle a variety of situations, as each day in education can bring new challenges.
  • Communication: Maintain strong communication with students and staff to ensure a positive learning environment.
Ideal Candidates
  • Experience: Whether you're a seasoned TA, HLTA, sports coach, or someone aspiring to teach, this role offers invaluable experience in leading a classroom.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication Skills: Essential for effective interaction with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Prior Experience: Experience in mentoring, tutoring, or teaching in the UK is advantageous.
