Job Title: NHS Specialist Health Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled NHS Specialist Health Nurse to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with acute pain and chronic pain management needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and develop care plans for patients with acute and chronic pain management needs
  • Deliver excellent nursing care to patients in acute pain and chronic pain management settings
  • Implement and evaluate care plans to ensure quality patient outcomes
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of care delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
Person Specification:
  • Demonstrated teaching and supervision skills
  • Ability to organize and deliver teaching to staff and teams
  • Nursing degree and teaching and assessing/mentorship qualification
  • Pain management course or evidence of working towards it
Desirable:
  • Leadership/management course
  • Experience of working with pain management teams
