Control Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at TS Tech Americas, Inc. as a Controls Engineer 2nd shift. This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of operations and engineering practices and procedures within a JIT manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with New Model Activity: Collaborate with the customer and R&D team to ensure successful implementation of new models.
- Design and Implement Facility Upgrades: Design and oversee the installation of new equipment, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Review and Recommend Equipment Upgrades: Conduct regular assessments of facility equipment needs and provide recommendations to management for upgrades and capital improvements.
- Manage Machinery and Equipment: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Ensure Timely Completion of Projects: Develop and implement plans to ensure all plant upgrades and equipment installations are completed on schedule.
- Support Production Efforts: Provide technical guidance to support production efforts and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Develop Contingency Plans: Establish and execute plans to address future issues and ensure business continuity.
- Conduct Time Studies and Troubleshoot Operations: Analyze existing systems and procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to achieve management objectives.
- Support 5S, TPM, and Kaizen Programs: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement programs to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Ensure Safe Operations: Develop and implement plans to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Establish and Execute Monthly Plans: Develop and implement plans to achieve business objectives and key metrics.
- Execute Action Items: Collaborate with the team to execute action items outlined in the annual business plan to achieve section key metrics.
