Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at our New Castle, IN office. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and Implement Control Systems: Develop and implement control systems for our manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with our R&D team, manufacturing team, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of control systems into our manufacturing processes.
  3. Conduct Process Improvements: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  4. Ensure Safe Operations: Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for our employees.
  5. Develop and Execute Monthly Plans: Establish and execute a monthly plan to achieve key objectives and metrics.
  6. Support Business Objectives: Execute action items per the annual business plan to help achieve section key metrics (downtime reduction, cost reduction).

Requirements

  • Good Understanding of Operations and Engineering Practices: Possess a good understanding of operations and engineering practices and procedures within a JIT manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead teams.
