Job Title: Engineering Manager

Are you a seasoned Engineering Manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have experience in managing projects in manufacturing, automotive, airports, FMCG distribution, or similar fields?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at CV-Library. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing internal teams and contractors, communicating across teams and to project stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and coordinate project technical support, taking ownership of problems and seeing them through to resolution.
  2. Maintain and communicate project technical documentation.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  4. Design and propose alternative solutions when faced with project barriers.
  5. Coordinate equipment installation and commissioning.

Requirements:

  1. An Engineering qualification, to HND or Degree level.
  2. 3-5 years of engineering or project management experience.
  3. Experience of projects in manufacturing, automotive, airports, FMCG distribution, or similar fields.
  4. Ideally a H&S qualification or strong working knowledge (IOSH, CDM or NEBOSH).
  5. Ability to design and propose alternative solutions when faced with project barriers.
  6. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel, and ideally MS Project.
