Airfield Engineering Asset Project Specialist

The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting and delivering refurbishment and equipment upgrade projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to specifications, and budget control. This role will contribute to growth, reduce operating costs, and enhance efficiency at 24/7 high-speed manufacturing sites producing food and consumer healthcare products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects, ensuring seamless integration and effective communication.
- Develop and implement standard engineering practices, providing detailed documentation upon project completion.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with site safety protocols, including permit-to-work issuing and adherence to installation types.
- Work on a diverse range of equipment and machinery, including automation, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Engineering qualification to HND or Degree level.
- Experience in manufacturing projects, with a blend of automation, mechanical, and electrical disciplines.
- 2-3+ years of project management experience, with a focus on process awareness and site safety.
- Ability to develop and implement standard engineering practices and provide detailed documentation.
