About the Role

RPS is seeking an experienced Water Asset Inspector to join our Asset Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and reporting on the condition of water and sewage infrastructure assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of water and sewage infrastructure assets to identify any defects or issues.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports to document findings and recommendations.
  • Capture features and relevant information related to health and safety measures and structural conditions.
  • Execute additional tasks to meet team Asset Management framework objectives.
  • Work to policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to business growth.
Requirements
  • Experience in civil/structural engineering inspection and water site work is preferred.
  • Knowledge of health and safety culture and its application is essential.
  • Experience in inspecting structural features, pipe bridges, and pipe tunnels along a pipeline is beneficial.
  • Civil/structural engineering inspection skillsets from other utilities will be considered.
  • IT skills are essential, with familiarity with the MS 365 suite of programs.
  • Solution-focused and collaborative approach is required.
