Job Title: Home Purchase and Acquisitions Officer

Service Care Solutions is seeking a dedicated Home Purchase and Acquisitions Officer to manage various property purchase schemes on behalf of our client. The role involves facilitating rehousing for regeneration projects, shared equity, and other schemes that increase the company's housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with rehousing homeowners affected by regeneration, addressing concerns, and ensuring smooth relocations.
  • Manage the Cash Incentive schemes and other property purchasing processes.
  • Oversee the shared ownership portfolio, including rent and service charge collection, staircasing, and adherence to the Debt Recovery Protocol.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, including solicitors, surveyors, and external valuers, to ensure compliance and financial integrity.
  • Administer payment processes within the company's financial procedures.
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering and fraud detection regulations.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of leasehold management and home purchase schemes.
  • Experience supporting residents with rehousing, ideally within regeneration projects.
  • Ability to manage a multifaceted workload and meet deadlines.
  • Experience dealing with sensitive resident issues and communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Familiarity with financial management, particularly in home purchase schemes.
