Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineer II to provide technical sales support for our metrology and demonstration applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with special analyzer software, laser trackers, and 3D metrology software.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct product demonstrations and showcase technical features to customers
  2. Communicate product benefits for complex applications
  3. Assist the sales team in providing product recommendations
  4. Prepare operating instructions and conduct training programs
  5. Maintain positive customer relationships
  6. Develop technical specifications for quotations
  7. Manage minor programming and turnkey projects
  8. Consult with customers and incorporate feedback into application designs
  9. Provide technical support to customers
Requirements
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  2. Comfortable speaking before small groups
  3. Proficient with MS Office
  4. Strong Customer Service Skills
  5. Creative, analytical, and driven
  6. Works under general direction as well as in a team environment
  7. Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  8. 2-6 years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or similar environment
