As an Automotive Performance Development Lead, you will be responsible for driving the development of virtual dynamics performance against key targets. You will work closely with our Principal Vehicle Dynamics team to ensure accurate simulation results and lead the correlation activity to guarantee CAE model maturity and validation.
Main Responsibilities- Lead Concept/Architecture work and high-level attribute setting according to company DNA
- Liaise with testing facilities to develop benchmark plans
- Set targets and monitor performance development against them
- Perform CAE vehicle dynamics analyses
- Collaborate with the development team to plan physical testing
- Ensure consistent correlation reports of experimental testing data and CAE simulation
- You have a broad amount of experience in vehicle dynamics (CAE and physical testing)
- You possess good knowledge of Matlab and other post-processing software such as Python
- You have a methodical approach to problem-solving and are skilled in structured reporting
- You can interpret subjective and objective data and have experience in vehicle tuning techniques
We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous package, you will also receive benefits including a comprehensive pension scheme, life insurance, and access to ongoing training and development opportunities.
