Blayze Unguem Ltd is seeking an experienced Gluing Minder to join their motivated and skilled converting team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the construction of lithographic printed packaging in various formats and on a range of materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Brausse gluing lines and Boomerang machine to construct high-quality cartons, sleeves, and other packaging types.
- Organize systems to ensure all jobs for gluing shift are ready.
- Manage the quality of packaging gluing and construction.
- Assist in planning trials for new packaging projects.
- Ensure daily schedules are met.
- Complete documentation for traceability and maintain excellent BRC grading.
- Daily maintenance and care of gluing lines and machinery.
- A minimum of 1 year gluing experience is essential.
- A quality-focused attention to detail, with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- Experience operating Brausse Machinery or Boomerang folder gluers is an advantage.
- Additional experience in lithographic printing and packaging converting is desirable.
This is a fast-paced work environment with high standards, promoting excellent teamwork and a highly supportive employee culture. The successful candidate will be required to work a Monday to Friday double day shift (6:00am-14:30pm and 13:30pm-22:00pm).
