Main Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As an Audiologist/Senior Audiologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality audiology services to patients, including assessments, treatments, and patient care management.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes, supervise and train junior staff, and contribute to the development of audiology services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized audiology assessments and treatments
  • Manage patient caseload and prioritize workload
  • Supervise and train junior staff, including students and assistants
  • Contribute to the development of audiology services and clinical education of less experienced staff
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements

  • Audiology degree or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCCP)
  • Evidence of relevant knowledge and skills developments
  • Experience of working in a clinical setting and supervising junior staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
