About the Position

This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of adults of all ages who require care at home. As a Health Care Practitioner, you will be working closely with our multi-disciplinary team to promote independence, dignity, and choice.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Monitoring progress and providing feedback to registered practitioners or assistant practitioners
  • Making minor adjustments to treatment programs within predetermined limits
  • Assisting registered practitioners with complex treatments

Main Responsibilities:

  • Acting within your competence and authority, adhering to local protocols and understanding communication networks
  • Practicing hand hygiene to prevent infection spread, ensuring compliance with local hand hygiene policies
  • Preparing individuals for healthcare activities and support those undergoing such activities, in accordance with service competencies
  • Assisting registered practitioners in delivering therapy programs, as per service competencies
  • Implementing mobility and movement programs to restore optimal movement and functional independence
  • Delierving exercise sessions to improve health and well-being
  • Providing personal hygiene assistance for individuals unable to care for themselves
  • Transporting materials and equipment within the healthcare sector
  • Fitting healthcare equipment, medical devices, assistive technology, or products to meet individual clinical needs
  • Maintaining healthcare equipment, medical devices, and associated systems

Salary Information: Based on national averages, we estimate an annual salary range of £22,000 - £28,000, dependent on location and experience.
