About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our M&S Iceking team. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and leading a team of colleagues to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage store operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and inventory control
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and improve customer engagement
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and implement company-wide initiatives

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a retail management role, preferably in a food retail environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet business needs
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising principles and ability to implement effective store displays
