Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Solicitor to join our Employment and Business Immigration Group at Sheridans, a leading London law firm. The successful candidate will have a strong background in employment law and a proven track record of advising clients on complex employment matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on employment law issues, including performance and sickness management, contract and service agreements, and HR policies.
  • Work closely with the Partners and wider team to manage complex matters and projects, both contentious and non-contentious.
  • Provide strategic advice on current employment law and stay up-to-date with any employment law changes.
  • Support employment tribunal, civil court, and appeal litigation.

This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced lawyer to further their career in employment advisory matters for professional and financial services clients. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employment law and a proven ability to work with clients to achieve their objectives.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in employment law gained from a leading City practice.
  • Experience of working with clients in the professional and financial services sectors.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and ability to provide strategic advice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
