GSL Education - Plymouth is seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join their team as a KS2 Supply Teacher on a long-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/PGCE) and be able to deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain classroom management, and assess and support students. They should also be flexible and adaptable, willing to work in different schools and gain experience across year groups and subjects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons: Confidently carry out lesson plans left by permanent staff, adapting as needed to meet student needs.
  • Maintain classroom management: Foster a positive, structured classroom environment, using effective behaviour management strategies to keep students engaged and on track.
  • Assess and support students: Provide encouragement, monitor progress as required, and assist students in understanding lesson content.
What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/PGCE): A recognised teaching qualification is required.
  • Flexibility & Adaptability: A positive, flexible approach is essential for adapting to different school environments.
Salary Information

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £100-£140 per annum, depending on experience.
