About the Role

Medacs Healthcare is seeking experienced, graduate, and passionate speech pathologists to fill various roles across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Create personalized treatment and therapy plans for diverse patient populations.
  • Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
  • Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and their causes.
  • Maintain detailed records of patient conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
  • Report progress and current status to relevant parties.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should be adaptable, analytical, and resourceful, with a strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments.

  • Bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology.
  • Experience with certain conditions or working with specific age groups may be preferred.
  • Excellent coaching and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially patient and healthcare databases.
