Project Manager Role in Defence Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Defence and Strategic projects division based in Plymouth.

The successful candidate will support the business to achieve optimal utilisation of resources, ensuring high standards are met through quality-controlled documentation, processes, and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage resilience-related projects or tasks, including effective supervision of staff, workforce, and subcontractors.
  • Effectively manage planning, programming, procurement, and health and safety.
  • Produce project-specific documentation, including RAMS, permits, toolbox talks, briefings, and other necessary health and safety documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records, including actions log, resource allocation, site diaries, and progress monitoring.
  • In collaboration with management team members, establish and implement plans for effective deployment of staff and resources, minimising risk and determining incident reporting plans.
Requirements:
  • Located in or within travelling distance of Plymouth.
  • Hybrid working possible, but likely to be site-based.
  • Civils infrastructure/Building experience.
  • Work in MOD/Nuclear premises.

We estimate this role to offer a salary of around £72,500 per annum, depending on experience.
