This is a full-time opportunity with the possibility of working from home. The role includes a fair caseload and opportunities for further training in your portfolio.

About the Role

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing service users and carers with complex needs in relation to their home environment. Key duties include:

  • Providing expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications
  • Recommending adaptations to support independent living
  • Assessing, developing, reviewing, and monitoring individual care plans related to adaptations, equipment, and moving and handling
  • Commissioning services for the provision of adaptations and equipment to enable clients and their carers to reach their full potential for independent living
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community
  • Previous experience working with major adaptations
  • Manual handling experience
  • HCPC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (Ackerman Pierce Ltd can assist with obtaining this)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST QUALIFICATION
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at around £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
