Job Title: Technical Sales Manager

Location: Alton

Salary: £35- £45k per annum

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Proactive Global. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the internal sales function, driving business growth, and developing strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
  3. Manage and maintain accurate records and action lists in CRM
  4. Provide technical sales support and guidance to customers and prospects
  5. Liaise with external sales teams and international distributors
  6. Support the development of sales strategies and plans
  7. Prepare and present quotations for products and engineering services
  8. Progress customer enquiries through the sales cycle to purchase orders
  9. Complete sales order processing and ensure timely delivery
  10. Achieve individual and team sales targets
  11. Liaise with other functional groups, including engineering, operations, manufacturing, and purchasing
  12. Appraise customers of open order status
  13. Liaise with HM Gov. when export licenses are required
  14. Attend trade shows and exhibitions as required

Requirements:

  • Recent technical/engineering sales experience, ideally from an electric motor perspective
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably Zoho CRM
  • Good understanding of basic operation of electric motors
  • Technical sales experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
