Job Title: Finance Manager

Join our team as a Finance Manager at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where you will play a crucial role in leading the financial management of our Care Groups.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team, responsible for leading the financial management of our Care Groups. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial plans, managing budgets, and providing financial guidance to our Care Groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets for our Care Groups
  • Provide financial guidance and support to our Care Groups
  • Manage and analyze financial data to inform business decisions
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Collaborate with our Care Groups to develop and implement financial strategies
Requirements
  • Current CCAB or CIMA Professional Accounting Qualification
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of the NHS financial regime
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage financial teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide recommendations
