Rochester Metal Products Corp. is seeking an experienced Automotive Production Scheduler to join their team. This role plays a crucial part in planning and scheduling activities, overseeing daily production schedules and ensuring finished good inventory levels are properly managed. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in manufacturing scheduling, preferably in a foundry environment with familiarity of automotive customer systems.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:
  • Review and Update Forecast: Review and update forecast, production schedules, and material requirements.
  • Material Supply Management: Proactively review material supply of purchased cores from outside vendors and coordinate outside casting services such as coating and heat treat.
  • Customer Service: Provide customer service to ensure customer satisfaction related to quality defects, order changes, and shipping logistics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with ERP Knowledge: Proficiency with computer skills and ERP knowledge is desired.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to provide leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
