We are a leading manufacturing business based in Rochester, Kent, known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence. Our Packhouse Department plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality products to our clients, ensuring timely and efficient production.
**Role Overview**
As the Production Team Manager within our Packhouse Department, you will oversee day-to-day operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in production management, a passion for people development, and a commitment to high standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the production team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Operational Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality targets.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain strict quality control processes to ensure all products meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators, addressing any issues or inefficiencies, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
**What We're Looking For**
- Experience: Proven experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally with team management responsibilities.
- Leadership: Strong people management skills with a track record of developing and leading a successful team.
**Benefits**
- Competitive salary of £35,000 – £45,000, based on experience.
- Stable, daytime working hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
