Financial Director

Pentagon Technical Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the business group, working closely with all departments to plan and manage budgets, and providing financial guidance to the Managing Director.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement financial models for forecasting and cash management to inform business planning and budgeting.
- Monitor business performance across all areas, clients, and departments, providing regular financial reports to the board.
- Prepare and present financial projections and forecasts to the board, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Engage with external funding and finance to support business growth, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage insurance, including health, liability, and indemnities, to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
- Oversee cash flow management, including ledger management, invoicing, and debit monitoring and collection.
- Supervise the accounts and bookkeeping team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Participate in bid activity, working with the Business Development department to ensure successful and profitable bids.
- Complete monthly reviews, utilizing accepted business procedures to ensure the Managing Director has full knowledge of project completion and financial status.
- Exceptional commercial acumen and business knowledge.
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with a strong track record of financial management.
- Ability to understand and implement strategic vision and goals.
- Excellent people management, leadership, and supervisory skills.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, with capability to multitask effectively.
- Proactive, diligent, and works well under pressure.
- Anticipate and communicate regularly, with excellent communication skills.
- Commercial market awareness.
- Honesty, integrity, and transparency in all dealings with the Company, our clients, and fellow employees.
