Learning Support Specialist Position

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Aspire People. This exciting opportunity involves working with students who have special educational needs (SEN) or other barriers to learning, helping them achieve their full potential.
About the Role
- As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to adapt lesson plans and provide targeted support to students who need it most.
- You will be responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and motivation.
- Your duties will also involve supporting students' social and emotional development, encouraging independence and self-confidence.
- Additionally, you will assist with classroom management, ensuring students behave positively and follow the school's code of conduct.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting, preferably in a secondary school environment.
- A strong passion for supporting students with SEN or additional needs, ensuring they receive equal opportunities to succeed.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Organisational skills and adaptability, allowing you to respond to changing circumstances and priorities.
- A willingness to contribute to the school's mission and values, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience.
