Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading global food manufacturer to recruit a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Sheffield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive breakdown, planned/preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement services
  • Undertake risk assessments and write permits for external contractors
  • Analyse losses/data and plan improvements through the Maintenance Planner
  • Ensure effective maintenance is planned and executed
  • Update SAP and source/order spares through lead tech/planner
  • Lead BDA process on biggest losses in an area
  • Support and coach operators
  • Raise and complete Tags with and without operator involvement

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds ONC qualification or equivalent in electrical engineering
  • Understanding of electrical wiring regulations IEE 17th Edition
  • Fully multi-skilled and competent in both electrical and mechanical maintenance
  • Experience of PLC fault finding within an FMCG environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to utilise tools such as FMECA, SMED, RCA, PDCA
  • Strong training skills - training operators
