**Job Description:**

The Senior Health and Safety Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's health and safety standards are upheld across two office locations in the East and West Midlands. This includes:

  • Promoting and maintaining a positive safety culture
  • Ensuring company operations adhere to industry-compliant safety standards
  • Improving performance, compliance culture, and overall safety through the implementation of health and safety and environmental management systems
  • Carrying out safety risk assessments prior to starting new projects
  • Developing and maintaining health and safety processes
  • Owning the Carbon Net Zero Plan and updating records accordingly
  • Promoting and leading the net zero campaign
  • Preparing and filing reports for accidents and other safety breaches
  • Staying up-to-date with health, safety, and environment regulations
  • Conducting in-house training sessions on health, safety, and environmental awareness
  • Remote site visits attending monthly meetings with stakeholders

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • In-depth understanding of the 45001 standard (Internal Auditor) or a health and safety qualification
  • IOSH/NEBOSH qualification
  • Relevant regulatory experience (e.g., health and safety, environmental standards)
  • Solid understanding of risk and compliance principles and frameworks
  • Clean driving license
