Business Development Representative

About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Representative to join our team at Universal Business Team. As a key player in the sales team, you will be responsible for new customer acquisition through outbound telemarketing. You will work closely with the marketing team to drive lead acquisition, set up events, and achieve KPI targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new customers in the FMCG and Distribution sectors.
- Provide feedback to marketing to enhance content and drive new business.
- Set up events and meetings for trials, packaging audits, and networking.
- Achieve KPI targets for calls and appointments.
- Execute campaign calls and strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Experience in high-volume outbound sales environments is highly desirable.
- Experience in the packaging industry / FMCG is desirable (not essential).
- A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic team player.
