Senior Consultant/Technical Advisor

Location: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with a leading global renewable energy consultancy to find a skilled Senior Consultant/Technical Advisor for wind energy projects.

This role involves leading teams and overseeing the execution of renewable energy projects across multiple countries. Collaboration with international consultancy teams is expected, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for spearheading projects for diverse clients, including banks, investors, and developers, and nurturing relationships with them.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee technical due diligence projects to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Assess technology and design aspects of renewable energy projects.
  • Provide technical insights on the planning phase of renewable energy projects.
  • Evaluate various agreements, including interconnection agreements, power purchase agreements, BoP and Wind Turbine contracts, O&M agreements, and financial models.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure project compliance.
  • Effectively manage project timelines and client expectations.
  • Hold a BSc/MSc in Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing technical advisory services for wind projects.
  • Profound understanding of the technical due diligence scope pertaining to wind projects.
  • Hands-on involvement with both greenfield and operational projects.
  • Possessing over 5 years of experience in engineering consulting.
  • Being adept at managing a diverse array of projects, encompassing technical leadership, resource allocation, and budget management.
  • Proficiency in Project Management.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are advantageous).
