Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to join our team in Northeast London. This is a full-time role that involves leading the assessment and treatment arm of our service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients referred to and using our services. They will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that clients receive a holistic and person-centered care and treatment program based on the recovery model.

Salary: £150,000 per annum

Job Requirements:

  • MBBS or Equivalent Medical Degree and MRCPsych
  • Full GMC registration with license to practice
  • Registered on the specialist register with in General Adult or Forensics
  • Experience of working in inpatient settings with people with significant mental health issues
  • Knowledgeable of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice, along with the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Code of Practice
  • Committed to continued professional development
