We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our team at Babasheesh, a Mediterranean and Turkish-inspired restaurant in Maidstone. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities in the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain strategy, policies, procedures, guests, staff, and purveyors to achieve budgeted goals and sales growth.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent service and high-quality food.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements, including fire, Health and Safety, licensing, and employment regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency in all areas of the restaurant.

Your Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of hospitality experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Personal License holder.
  • Experience working in a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer focus, with the ability to demonstrate exceptional guest service.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to cooperate and assist other departments at all levels when necessary.
  • Financial acumen skills, with the ability to manage budgets and control costs.
