**Key Responsibilities:**

As a Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial data. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing payroll, including the resolution of any issues that may arise;
  • Completing charity reviews, working closely with auditors to ensure compliance;
  • Providing daily oversight of operational financial services, including setup and payment of suppliers, transactional procurement, payroll, and treasury management;
  • Supporting trust-wide financial planning, including budgeting and cash flow management;
  • Ensuring the integrity of financial reporting systems, providing accurate records of financial position;
  • Collecting debt resulting from salary overpayments;
  • Training staff on budget holding, focusing on areas such as cash management, debtors, and capital expenditure;
  • Preparing financial reconciliations and providing financial information, including advising on technical matters like VAT, capital, and lease accounting;

In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £43,200 per annum (based on 50 hours/week), paid weekly, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
