Job Details

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to work on a part-time basis, based in the East of England. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for various finance-related tasks, including sales and purchase ledger processing, bank reconciliation, and preparing payment runs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales and Purchase Ledger processing
  • Preparing payment runs
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Statement reconciliation
  • Finance Administration
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Resolving queries
  • Preparing payroll (training provided)
  • Supporting with stocktakes
  • Admin duties to support the team

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working as a bookkeeper in a small business environment
  • IT Literate - Ideally with experience of Quickbooks and Xero
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Own transport essential for travel between Huntingdon, Kimbolton, and occasionally Bedford

About the Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary range of £28,000-£32,000 per annum, pro-rata'd, plus benefits. This role works Monday to Friday, 9.30am-4pm (30 minutes unpaid lunch break) or 4 full days per week, 9am-5pm.
