About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Orthopaedic Oncology Team at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide advanced physiotherapeutic assessment and treatment to patients with complex orthopaedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients using advanced clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques.
  • Formulate and deliver individualized physiotherapy treatment programs based on sound knowledge of evidence-based treatment options.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide holistic care to patients across inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings.
  • Supervise junior staff members and engage in appraisals.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and research projects.
Requirements
  • Diploma/degree in physiotherapy.
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council.
  • Evidence of continued professional development, including attendance at recent postgraduate courses relevant to this post.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a junior grade in a broad range of rotations, including orthopaedics, outpatients, and rehabilitation.
