Electrical Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Natural Resources Team working on our Thames Water framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out hands-on electrical installation works on Thames Water sites, supervising other Kier electricians, and ensuring their works meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation of low-voltage electrical systems, including temporary and permanent works, on Thames Water sites.
  • Supervising Kier electricians and mates, providing mentorship to electrical apprentices, and ensuring their works meet the required standards.
  • Supporting the development of commissioning documentation, including outage management plans, and producing electrical RAMS to cover Kier electrical installation works.
  • Reviewing and signing off project ITPs, ensuring they are managed through Kier's common data environment.
Requirements:
  • Proven years of industry experience in the Water Industry in a similar role.
  • Relevant JIB Gold Card / ECS card, as well as C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations.
  • IEE 18th edition wiring regs and C&G 2391 Inspect and Test.
  • Good working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant / equipment.
  • Holds a Full UK Driving Licence.
