We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Kier Group, working on our Thames Water framework. As an Electrical Working Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for carrying out hands-on electrical installation works on Thames Water sites, supervising other Kier electricians, and ensuring their works meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities- Installation of Electrical Systems: You will be responsible for installing low-voltage electrical systems, including temporary and permanent works, on Thames Water sites.
- Supervision and Mentorship: You will supervise Kier electricians and mates, providing mentorship to electrical apprentices and ensuring their works meet the required standards.
- Commissioning Documentation: You will support the development of commissioning documentation, including outage management plans, and produce electrical RAMS to cover Kier electrical installation works.
- Project Management: You will review and sign off project ITPs, ensuring they are managed through Kier's common data environment.
- Industry Experience: You will have proven years of industry experience in the Water Industry in a similar role.
- Qualifications and Certifications: You will hold a relevant JIB Gold Card / ECS card, C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations, IEE 18th edition wiring regs, SMSTS, Confined Spaces, and C&G 2391 Inspect and Test.
- Knowledge and Skills: You will have a good working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant / equipment, and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
